Last year it was the unknown,    this year, it is the variants.

The organizing committee of the 2021 edition of the music festival had a meeting earlier and made the decision of cancelling the 4 days event.

With cases rising in Ontario, the 2 new variants, Quebec implementing a vaccination passport and the cost of renting tents and equipment to transfer all the event outdoors (to be safer for everyone), the only logical solution came up; to cancel the event, take a pause, and think about 2022.

To all the attendees who booked their tickets via Snapd 1000 Islands, you will get a refund directly as we decided not to transfer the tickets to next year as we are looking at revamping the event.

Feel free to still visit the 1000 Islands during Labor Day weekend, it’s a great place! (or do not forget to cancel your room not to be charged).

Thank you for your constant support, stay safe, get the vaccine and stay tuned, you never know what we can come up with!
